Delete your app data

The app has no user accounts and never sends the usernames you search or your results to us. The only data stored on our side is listed below, and you can delete it yourself.

How to delete your data

1. In the app (fastest): open Settings › Privacy & legal › Delete my data and confirm. This immediately deletes this phone's record on our servers (anonymous ID, notification token, language, app version and your terms-acceptance record) and wipes the app's data on your phone (recent searches, saved results, settings).
2. Uninstall the app: uninstalling removes everything stored on your phone. Do step 1 first if you also want the server record deleted straight away.
3. By email: to delete feedback or result ratings you sent us, email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my data". If you included an email address in your feedback, send the request from that address. We delete matching feedback within 30 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted

• Device record (anonymous installation ID, push-notification token, language, app version, notification topics, terms version and acceptance time): deleted immediately with Delete my data, or within 30 days of an email request that lets us identify it.
• Feedback and result ratings (your message, optional email, star rating and optional comment, app version, language): deleted within 30 days of your email request.
• Data on your phone (recent searches, saved results, settings, free-scan counter): deleted with Delete my data or by uninstalling.

What is kept, and for how long

• Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics, if crash reports are on): not linked to you; deleted automatically after 90 days. You can turn them off in Settings › Privacy & legal › Crash reports.
• Advertising data is collected by Google AdMob under Google's own policies; we do not receive or store it. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings (Settings › Google › Ads) and change ad consent in the app (Settings › Privacy & legal › Ad privacy).
