Username site health tracker
Every night at 03:00 our engine tests each site it supports twice: once with a username we know exists there, once with a made-up name that shouldn't. If the two answers come back right, the site counts as working. This page publishes the totals, so you can see how reliable a username search really is from one night to the next.

Big platforms that failed last night
Small sites appear only as counts. Big platforms are named, because a failure there affects most searches.
- TikTok: rule broken
- Discord: blocked our check
- Instagram: blocked our check
- Lichess: blocked our check
- Tripadvisor: blocked our check
- Dailymotion: offline
- Linktree: offline
- OK.ru: offline
A big platform that blocks or breaks shows as Blocked or Unknown in your results, never as a guess. Where we know a platform can't be checked reliably, its checker page explains how to check it by hand, as on the Instagram page.
Which kinds of sites fail most
Share of each group that failed last night (broken, blocked or offline). Groups with fewer than 20 sites are left out.

How much changes in a week
Between October 21, 2026 and October 26, 2026, 214 different sites failed on at least one night. On the last night, 84 sites were hidden from results after failing three nights in a row. 12 sites that failed on the first night were working again by the last, and 110 that worked on the first night had failed by the last. That turnover is why a username list has to be re-tested often: a site that worked last month can give wrong answers today.
Method
- What runs: our own engine, on our server, every night at 03:00 (server time) since October 20, 2026.
- The test: for each site, one username known to exist there and one random name. Working means the first is found and the second isn't.
- Sample: every site in the engine (3,457 on the last run). Nights that tested fewer than 3,000 sites were early test runs and are left out.
- What we publish: totals only. The detection rules and the test usernames stay private.
Limitations
- One night is one snapshot from one server. A site can block our server but still answer your own browser, or the reverse.
- "Working" is tested with two names. A rule can pass the test and still be wrong for some names, for example private or banned accounts.
- The tracker started in October 2026, so it can't show long-term trends yet.
Changelog
- October 26, 2026: page launched with 6 nights of data. Written by David James.
Frequently asked questions
What does "broken" mean?
The site answered, but our rule could no longer tell a real profile from a missing one. Usually the site changed its page or started returning the same page for every name.
What does "blocked" mean?
The site refused our automated check, for example with a bot challenge or an HTTP 403 or 429. Searches on that site show as Blocked, so you can open it and check by hand.
What does "down" mean?
The site did not answer in time or the domain no longer resolves. Small community servers go offline and come back often.
Do failing sites still show up in my results?
Not for long. A site that fails three nights in a row is hidden from results, and it comes back as soon as it passes again. Until then, a site that fails once shows its real answer: Blocked or Unknown, never a guess.
How often is this updated?
The test runs every night at 03:00 server time. This page is rebuilt from the latest results with each site update, at least once a week. Last update: October 26, 2026.
Why publish your failures?
Because a site count on its own means little. Showing how many sites work each night, and which big platforms are failing, tells you how much to trust a result.
